ALBATROSS in collaboration with COLLABAT is organising a training activity on the “Digital Battery Passport: Addressing challenges for a successful implementation”. Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS) will be presenting and discussing at the next episode of this COLLABAT Webinar Series to be held on March 25, 2024, from 11.00 to 12.30 CET. Dr Fahim Chowdhury (Chief Executive Officer) and Salauddin Sohag (Head of Product) will be present from Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS) at the webinar.
This informative webinar aims to shed light on lingering questions concerning the future of the Digital Battery Passport. Certain aspects still require clarification, prompting ongoing research to uncover solutions for these challenges. The organisers believe anyone involved in this field should stay informed about these topics and their status to better navigate the evolving landscape.
The webinar will commence with “Introduction from TVS” a presentation by Salauddin Sohag. The presentation will exclusively highlight a framework for the upstream, midstream and downstream actors to evaluate the LCA results for perspective product, component, and material. This will encourage the actors to participate in the battery passport-based supply chain management and circular economy-based business model creation. A demonstration of how this framework can support the battery passport initiative will be also included.
The 30-minute presentation will be then followed by a 45-minutes panel discussion to be moderated by Tomas Jezdinsky (Market Research Consultant-ECI). The panel of speakers will include Dr Fahim Chowdhury (Chief Executive Officer-TVS), Dr Shahin Jamali (Head of Monitoring and Artificial Intelligence -Fraunhofer IEG), Suna Akbayir (Managing Director-Artech Consulting), Gabriela Pérez (Energy Systems Analytics-IREC), and José Espi (Line Manager in Sustainable Impact-Eurecat).
The discussion will focus on several topics regarding the Digital Battery Passport including value chain input for the battery passport, LCA approach, practical implementation issues, cope of application, data ownership issues, repair, maintenance and refurbishment issues; second life issues, specific data updates and validation issues, current and future regulation issues, and issues for openness in the future.
The presentation and panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session where webinar registrants can interact with all speakers.
