Albatross 6th General Assembly held in Turkey

Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS) is leading work package 7, ‘Life Cycle Analysis and Sustainability’ of the project. This pivotal role underscores TVS's commitment to driving sustainable practices within the electric vehicle industry. The development of a battery passport will be one of the extra miles of the project that TVS is developing.

The 6th General Assembly meeting of the Albatross Project H2020 was held on 1-2 February in Amsterdam. Individual members from the consortium attended the two-day meeting and workshop.

The FEV Turkey hosted the 6th General Assembly, along with the training on Battery Management Systems (BMS) for the partners. Partners contributed to the program with their latest achievements and planning on first day of the meeting. Technical discussions focused on the integration phase were mostly conducted on the second day.

Dr M A Hye Chowdhury (Lead Technologist) presented Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS)'s latest activities in detail regarding the ALBATROSS project, gave an overview of the technical activities, and discussed upcoming deliverables and answered the queries of fellow participants.


TVS is leading work package 7, ‘Life Cycle Analysis and Sustainability’ of the project. This pivotal role underscores TVS's commitment to driving sustainable practices within the electric vehicle industry. The key deliverables of the package include the economic and environmental impact of a novel approach, the development and population of the database, the development of a knowledge-based engineering (KBE) design automation system for eco-design and the development of sustainability mode. The development of a Battery passport will be one of the extra miles of the project that TVS is developing.

About the project: Advanced Light-weight BATteRy systems Optimized for fast charging, Safety, and Second-life applications (ALBATROSS) address the needs of the European Electric and Hybrid-Electric passenger vehicle market by overcoming driver concerns relating to battery range and anxiety, cost, long-term reliability, and excessive charging times. ALBATROSS will develop an integrated approach based on smart batteries combined with lightweight designs.
