Redefining Digital Healthcare Standards

Building trust and safeguarding privacy is more critical than ever, leading to a reassessment and redefinition of digital healthcare standards. Our focus is aimed at building trust within the healthcare ecosystem using blockchain solutions and architecture, federated machine learning, and AI.

Cancer

We are advancing AI-guided diagnostic systems using multimodal data to detect various cancers earlier than traditional methods. Our platforms detect early signs of breast, colon, and lung cancers from histopathological and radiology images; and identify skin cancer from dermoscopy images.

dpp

Dengue

TVS Digital Healthcare is working on tackling a severe infectious disease called "Dengue", which is now endemic in more than 100 countries. TVS is developing an AI-guided ‘Dengue-AI’ system to identify the critical stages of Dengue patients and give the best treatment to save lives.

dpp

Pharmaceuticals

By harnessing the power of blockchain, one of our pioneering projects in the Digital Healthcare domain, the PharmaLedger project proposed new technological solutions that will improve the security of our medicines and boost trust in the pharmaceutical pipeline.

dpp

Disability Analysis

TVS is developing ‘PhyMedAI’, which uses advanced computer vision techniques to analyse and measure body poses and angles for early identification of physical disabilities.

dpp

Diabetic Retinopathy

TVS is developing ‘OphthaAI’ to diagnose diabetic retinopathy from fundus photographs using AI, which helps to prevent blindness in diabetic patients.

Federated Learning

TVS is leading the development of a federated machine learning platform for privacy-enhanced clinical data, providing a scalable AI service platform for European datasets and advancing data-driven healthcare through privacy-preserving cross-border data utilisation.

Technology we use

platform dev icon

Blockchain

TVS is driving collaborative efforts to accelerate the adoption of disruptive blockchain-based solutions in healthcare. Blockchain technology is revolutionising healthcare digitization, promising significant advancements in the industry.

platform dev icon

Distributed Storage

Medical data is stored across multiple nodes in a decentralised network leveraging blockchain technology to enhance security, privacy, and data integrity.

platform dev icon

IoT

Through the Internet of Things (IoT) technology we simplify the collection of distributed data inside healthcare practices, speed information exchange, and increase knowledge processing across collaborative partners.

platform dev icon

HL7

Data is vital, but meaningless without proper processing. To make data meaningful, we need standardized formats adopted by health organisations. We follow the global HL7 (Healthcare Level 7) standards to facilitate this, serving as the foundation for technological advances in clinical data transfer and storage.

platform dev icon

Federated Learning (FL)

TVS, in collaboration with research partners and hospitals across Europe, is at the forefront of developing a Federated AI service platform. This platform enables AI-powered studies of siloed, multi-site, cross-domain, and cross-border European datasets while ensuring GDPR-compliant privacy guarantees.

platform dev icon

Differential privacy

We understand Personal Health Information (PHI) is subject to strict privacy regulations. Through this technology, we ensure patients' privacy even in a transparent and immutable blockchain environment.

platform dev icon

Encrypted computation

Encrypted computation ensures that sensitive health data is protected from unauthorised access at all stages: storage, transmission, and processing; improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system.

platform dev icon

Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)

Through TEEs we securely process sensitive healthcare data, such as patient records and medical history, ensuring that this data is not exposed to unauthorised entities even if the main operating system is compromised.

platform dev icon

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in health informatics has significantly advanced patient care through the analysis of extensive datasets, leading to improved diagnostics, personalised treatments, and predictive analytics.

Our projects

PharmaLedger

The EU-funded PharmaLedger project (grant No.85399) concluded in December 2022. It developed a blockchain-based framework for healthcare, enhancing digitalization and patient empowerment. TVS led Distributed Data Integration, processing, and sharing; IoT, personalized medicine, and supply chain integrity while promoting blockchain adoption and managing project dissemination.
