FLUTE-TRUMPET Consortium Meeting and Conference held in Italy

The consortium meeting provided a platform for project partners to gather and discuss the current state of the project, outlining crucial advancements and planning for the next steps. Partners engaged in insightful discussions, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with the project's objectives.


The FLUTE and TRUMPET projects hosted a consortium meeting in Cesena, Italy, accompanied by an insightful healthcare conference from 12-14 December 2023. From clinical, technological, and research domains converged to align strategies, ensuring the project’s seamless progression. The members discussed all the work packages and activities performed in the last six months in the meeting. The consortium meeting provided a platform for project partners to gather and discuss the current state of the project, outlining crucial advancements and planning for the next steps. Partners engaged in insightful discussions, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with the project's objectives.


They had insightful discussions, encouraging collaboration and ensuring the project's goals were met. Raihan Mahmud Arman (Chief Technology Officer) represented Technovative Solutions Limited in the meeting.


In conjunction with the consortium meeting, a captivating conference was also organised on AI in Healthcare in collaboration with the Campus of Cesena at the University of Bologna. The conference, titled “Healthcare Claims Future: Navigating the Landscape of Federated Learning”, was a gathering of professionals, researchers, and experts in healthcare and artificial intelligence. The agenda covered a range of topics, from addressing privacy challenges in collaborative AI model training to exploring the synergy of digital twin and AI applications in revolutionizing healthcare.


TRUMPET Project and contribution of TVS The TRUMPET consortium will develop a platform based on Trustworthy privacy enhancing technologies for researchers and solution developers. The platform will enable solution developers to create tools for healthcare professionals that allow them to analyze their own patient data and compare it with data from other hospitals and research centers while maintaining patient privacy and anonymity following the GDPR European policy.


TVS is responsible for developing a federated AI healthcare platform, which also includes data integration with healthcare premises and machine learning training.


Trumpet project has received funding from a Research and Innovation action activity under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme with Grant Agreement No.101070038


FLUTE Project and contribution of TVS The goal of the FLUTE project is to advance and scale up data-driven healthcare by developing novel methods for privacy-preserving cross-border utilisation of data hubs. Through this project, advanced research will be performed to push the performance envelope of secure multi-party computation in Federated Learning, including the associated AI models and secure execution environments. In accordance with the priorities set by the European Commission, the project will target collaboration, cross-fertilization and synergies with related national and international European projects.


TVS is developing the FLUTE Platform, which includes data hub and innovator dashboards; scalability, usability and performance validation; privacy protection strength validation, and documentation and user manual.


FLUTE project has received funding from the Horizon Europe Framework Programme (HORIZON) Research and Innovation Actions under grant agreement No 101095382.
