DigiProd Pass Ltd., a specialist division by the Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS), is delighted to announce its participation in the upcoming Webinar on Digital Product Passports, hosted by SATRA.
The Webinar is scheduled for Thursday, 13th February 2025. Representing DigiProd Pass, its Managing Director Salaudding Sohag, and industry expert Joanna Knight, Chair of the Climate Change and Sustainability Committee at The Furniture Makers’ Company will share their insights into how Digital Product Passports (DPPs) are revolutionising sustainability and transparency in industries worldwide.
Digital Product Passports (DPPs) are being introduced across the EU to improve sustainability and circularity. They capture data about the environmental impact of products, their composition and recyclability, their production, as well as supply chain information. Aside from legal requirements, DPPs offer greater transparency and confidence for the consumer and provide easy access to vital information about how products can be repaired, and ultimately how they can be responsibly disposed of managed at the end of their useful life. It is expected that footwear, apparel, furniture, bedding, textiles and floor coverings will all be required to have DPPs by 2030.
The speakers in this informative webinar will discuss in detail how DPPs will work, the type of information that is likely to be required, and will demonstrate a DPP solution.
