Bubble Image Capture in an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) and Analysis using Deep Learning for Geothermal Applications

The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is a thermodynamic cycle that can be applied in waste heat recovery, renewable energy power plants, etc., using low-boiling organic fluid instead of water. This webinar will discuss the image capture of organic fluid R134a bubble in an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) using a high-speed camera, detecting and analysing the dynamics of the bubbles using deep learning algorithms to apply in the geothermal energy industry.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Grant agreement 851917.
