The documentary film produced by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), featuring Technovative Solutions Ltd, is officially out now! As one of the most successful companies to secure projects under the Horizon Europe funding programme, UKRI has documented our story, our journey, and our vision for the future.
This 5-minute film captures how the Horizon Europe Programme is helping Technovative Solutions Ltd shape its current position. Starting with Smartrec in 2016, TVS has won 35 EU-funded projects to date, involving partners from the UK, Germany, Italy, and beyond. The EU funding is also empowering us to build impactful commercial products such as DigiProd Pass, our Digital Product Passport (DPP) solution, and to co-develop automotive solutions with major automakers.
Looking ahead to 2030, we envision that most companies will subscribe to DigiProd Pass and that multiple countries will use our data-exchange platform. Through these solutions, we have set a target to achieve an annual turnover exceeding £1 billion by 2030, a testament to the success we’ve earned through our Horizon Europe journey.
This UKRI-produced documentary will deeply encourage organisations striving to grow through the Horizon Europe programme and will act as a guiding reference for organisations aiming to scale through EU-funded research.

Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation. The programme facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies while tackling global challenges. It supports creating and better dispersing of excellent knowledge and technologies. Legal entities from the EU and associated countries can participate.
