We are proud to announce another major milestone in our dataspace journey!
The Board of Directors at the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) has officially approved Technovative Solutions Ltd (TVS)’s membership request, making us part of one of the world’s leading organisations focused on trusted and sovereign data sharing.
For us, this achievement carries special significance.
IDSA is recognised globally for steering and governing dataspace initiatives, helping shape the standards, principles, and frameworks that enable trusted, interoperable, and sovereign data ecosystems. With less than 200 members worldwide, becoming part of this community represents a major recognition of the work TVS has been doing in dataspace technology and standards-aligned digital collaboration.
IDSA not only accepted our membership but also praised the work TVS has been doing around dataspace technology and sovereign data sharing, highlighting how strongly our efforts align with the future of trusted and interoperable data ecosystems.
A Recognition That Goes Beyond a Single Ecosystem
For TVS, becoming an IDSA member is not simply about joining another organisation. It represents alignment with a global movement focused on shaping the future of secure, interoperable, and sovereign data exchange.
Over the last few years, dataspaces have become increasingly important across industries. From manufacturing and automotive to sustainability and supply chain ecosystems, organisations are looking for trusted ways to exchange data while maintaining governance, interoperability, and control.
IDSA has played a central role in advancing these principles internationally.
As one of the leading organisations in the dataspace landscape, IDSA helps define approaches for trusted data sharing, governance frameworks, interoperability models, and sovereign data exchange. Membership, therefore, signals that TVS is aligned with internationally recognised approaches to dataspace development and governance.
Importantly, this recognition also extends TVS’s credibility beyond any single ecosystem or industry initiative. While our work through Federity-X (the platform developed and operated by Technovative Solutions Limited for building, operating, and governing a sovereign dataspace), our involvement in standards-based ecosystems such as Catena-X has already positioned us strongly within the automotive dataspace landscape. IDSA membership reflects broader international recognition of our strategic direction and technical capabilities.
The Journey Towards IDSA Membership
Becoming part of IDSA required more than simply submitting a membership application.
The process involved demonstrating that TVS is actively contributing to the broader dataspace movement through both technical capability and strategic commitment.
Our growing role in dataspace architecture, governance-aligned infrastructure, standards-driven development, and interoperable ecosystem initiatives all contributed to the acceptance process. In particular, the work carried out through Federity-X played an important role in demonstrating TVS’s practical relevance within modern dataspace ecosystems.
Through Federity-X, TVS has consistently focused on enabling secure, sovereign, and standards-aligned data collaboration across connected ecosystems. Our initiatives around trusted interoperability, federated governance, and sovereign data exchange strongly align with the principles promoted by IDSA.
The acceptance into IDSA reflects that alignment.
At the same time, achieving membership required organisational commitment to the broader goals of trusted data sharing and interoperable digital collaboration. It meant demonstrating that TVS is not simply observing the evolution of dataspaces from the outside, but actively contributing to the ecosystem through meaningful work, technical engagement, and long-term strategic focus.
This distinction matters because organisations within the dataspace movement are expected to contribute value to the ecosystem rather than passively participate in it.
What This Means for TVS’ Clients and Partners
Joining IDSA strengthens TVS’s position within the global dataspace landscape while creating important opportunities for our clients and partners.
For TVS, membership provides deeper access to international discussions around dataspace governance, architecture, interoperability standards, and trusted data-sharing frameworks. It also enables us to engage more directly with organisations, helping shape the future direction of sovereign digital ecosystems across industries.
This helps ensure that our technologies, services, and dataspace initiatives remain aligned with internationally recognised standards and future-ready approaches.
For clients and partners, the benefits are equally important.
IDSA membership reinforces confidence that the solutions developed by TVS are built around trusted, interoperable, and governance-aligned principles. As industries continue moving towards connected digital ecosystems, organisations increasingly need partners who understand not only implementation but also the broader direction of international dataspace standards and governance.
Our involvement with IDSA strengthens our ability to deliver solutions that support:
- Interoperability across ecosystems
- Trusted and sovereign data exchange
- Governance-aligned architectures
- Future-ready dataspace infrastructure
- Scalable cross-industry collaboration
It also strengthens TVS’s role as a trusted ecosystem partner capable of supporting organisations navigating the evolving dataspace landscape.
Building the Future of Trusted Dataspaces
This achievement marks an important step in TVS’s broader vision for the future.
As dataspaces continue expanding beyond individual sectors, the need for internationally aligned and interoperable approaches will become increasingly important. TVS plans to use its IDSA membership to deepen its contribution to global dataspace discussions while continuing to strengthen its own platforms, initiatives, and ecosystem involvement.
Through Federity-X, we aim to continue supporting the development of trusted digital infrastructures that enable secure and sovereign collaboration across industries.
Looking ahead, TVS plans to leverage its IDSA membership to:
- Strengthen thought leadership in the dataspace ecosystem
- Contribute more actively to standards and industry discussions
- Align solutions with recognised international approaches
- Expand collaboration opportunities across industries
- Support future-ready sovereign data-sharing infrastructures
This membership also positions TVS to extend its role beyond automotive-focused ecosystems and participate more broadly in the growing global movement around trusted and interoperable dataspaces.
At its core, this milestone reflects something we strongly believe in at TVS: The future of the digital economy depends on trusted collaboration, interoperable ecosystems, and sovereign data exchange.
By joining IDSA, we are reinforcing our commitment to helping build that future.
